Barangay Del Remedio

Barangay Del Remedio is a small barangay in the municipality of Sulat, located in the province of Eastern Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Del Remedio had a population of 1,587. This made it the 2nd largest of 18 barangays in Sulat by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Del Remedio accounted for approximately 10.07% of the total population of Sulat, which stood at 15,758 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Del Remedio moving from 1,543 residents to 1,587 residents, an intercensal change of +2.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Del Remedio is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
