Barangay Maglipay (Pob.)

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Maglipay (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of Sulat in Eastern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Maglipay (Pob.) had a population of 944. This made it the 7th largest of 18 barangays in Sulat by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Maglipay (Pob.) accounted for approximately 5.99% of the total population of Sulat, which stood at 15,758 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Maglipay (Pob.) moving from 899 residents to 944 residents, an intercensal change of +5.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
