Situated in Taal, Batangas, Barangay Bihis is one of 42 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bihis had a population of 710. This made it the 31st largest of 42 barangays in Taal by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bihis accounted for approximately 1.16% of the total population of Taal, which stood at 61,460 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 702 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 710 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.1%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bihis as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
