Barangay Cubamba

Situated in Taal, Batangas, Barangay Cubamba is one of 42 barangays that make up the municipality within CALABARZON.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cubamba had a population of 860. This made it the 26th largest of 42 barangays in Taal by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cubamba accounted for approximately 1.40% of the total population of Taal, which stood at 61,460 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 904 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 860 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -4.9%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cubamba as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
