Barangay Bakal III

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Bakal III is one of the administrative divisions of Talavera in Nueva Ecija, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bakal III had a population of 6,555. This made it the 1st largest of 53 barangays in Talavera by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Bakal III accounted for approximately 4.95% of the total population of Talavera, which stood at 132,338 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,565 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 6,555 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.2%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bakal III as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
