Barangay Limbuhan Daku

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Limbuhan Daku is one of the administrative divisions of Tanauan in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Limbuhan Daku had a population of 605. This made it the 36th largest of 54 barangays in Tanauan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Limbuhan Daku accounted for approximately 1.05% of the total population of Tanauan, which stood at 57,455 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Limbuhan Daku changed from 514 to 605, a shift of +17.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Tanauan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Limbuhan Daku as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tanauan is a municipality comprising 54 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Limbuhan Daku, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
