Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Santo Niño Pob. is one of the administrative divisions of Tanauan in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santo Niño Pob. had a population of 3,747. This made it the 2nd largest of 54 barangays in Tanauan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Niño Pob. accounted for approximately 6.52% of the total population of Tanauan, which stood at 57,455 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,549 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 3,747 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +5.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Santo Niño Pob. is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
