Barangay Caloco

Barangay Caloco forms part of Tinambac, a municipality in Camarines Sur, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Caloco had a population of 891. This made it the 33rd largest of 44 barangays in Tinambac by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. The barangay recorded 1,169 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 891 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -23.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Caloco is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tinambac is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Caloco, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
