Barangay Lupi

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Lupi is one of the administrative divisions of Tinambac in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lupi had a population of 2,245. This made it the 10th largest of 44 barangays in Tinambac by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lupi accounted for approximately 3.20% of the total population of Tinambac, which stood at 70,176 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lupi moving from 2,218 residents to 2,245 residents, an intercensal change of +1.2%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Lupi as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
