Barangay Magsaysay

Situated in Tinambac, Camarines Sur, Barangay Magsaysay is one of 44 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Magsaysay had a population of 1,356. This made it the 21st largest of 44 barangays in Tinambac by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Magsaysay accounted for approximately 1.93% of the total population of Tinambac, which stood at 70,176 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,388 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,356 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -2.3%, consistent with a contracting settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Magsaysay as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
