Barangay Pantat

Barangay Pantat is a small barangay in the municipality of Tinambac, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pantat had a population of 1,020. This made it the 28th largest of 44 barangays in Tinambac by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pantat accounted for approximately 1.45% of the total population of Tinambac, which stood at 70,176 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pantat moving from 1,219 residents to 1,020 residents, an intercensal change of -16.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pantat as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tinambac is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pantat, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
