Barangay San Roque

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay San Roque is one of the administrative divisions of Tinambac in Camarines Sur, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Roque had a population of 863. This made it the 34th largest of 44 barangays in Tinambac by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Roque accounted for approximately 1.23% of the total population of Tinambac, which stood at 70,176 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Roque changed from 996 to 863, a shift of -13.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Tinambac. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Roque as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tinambac is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Roque, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
