Barangay Union

Barangay Union is a small barangay in the municipality of Tinambac, located in the province of Camarines Sur, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Union had a population of 943. This made it the 32nd largest of 44 barangays in Tinambac by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Union accounted for approximately 1.34% of the total population of Tinambac, which stood at 70,176 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Union changed from 946 to 943, a shift of -0.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in Tinambac. Barangay Union is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tinambac is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Union, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
