Barangay Camandagan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Camandagan is one of the administrative divisions of Tobias Fornier in Antique, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Camandagan had a population of 517. This made it the 28th largest of 50 barangays in Tobias Fornier by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Camandagan accounted for approximately 1.53% of the total population of Tobias Fornier, which stood at 33,816 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 515 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 517 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +0.4%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Camandagan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tobias Fornier is a municipality comprising 50 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Camandagan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Antique, which contains 590 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Camandagan ranks 414th by 2020 population.
