Barangay Danawan

This made it the 31st largest of 50 barangays in Tobias Fornier by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Danawan accounted for approximately 1.48% of the total population of Tobias Fornier, which stood at 33,816 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Danawan changed from 612 to 501, a shift of -18.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Tobias Fornier. Barangay Danawan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tobias Fornier is a municipality comprising 50 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Danawan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
