Barangay Igbalogo

Situated in Tobias Fornier, Antique, Barangay Igbalogo is one of 50 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Igbalogo had a population of 518. This made it the 27th largest of 50 barangays in Tobias Fornier by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Igbalogo accounted for approximately 1.53% of the total population of Tobias Fornier, which stood at 33,816 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Igbalogo changed from 493 to 518, a shift of +5.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Tobias Fornier. Barangay Igbalogo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tobias Fornier is a municipality comprising 50 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Igbalogo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Antique, which contains 590 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Igbalogo ranks 412th by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
