Barangay Igdalaguit

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Igdalaguit is one of the administrative divisions of Tobias Fornier in Antique, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Igdalaguit had a population of 1,397. This made it the 4th largest of 50 barangays in Tobias Fornier by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Igdalaguit accounted for approximately 4.13% of the total population of Tobias Fornier, which stood at 33,816 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Igdalaguit moving from 1,445 residents to 1,397 residents, an intercensal change of -3.3%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Igdalaguit as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
