Barangay Del Rosario

Barangay Del Rosario is a small barangay in the municipality of Tubod, located in the province of Surigao Del Norte, in the Caraga region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Del Rosario had a population of 1,400. This made it the 8th largest of 9 barangays in Tubod by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Del Rosario accounted for approximately 9.31% of the total population of Tubod, which stood at 15,043 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Del Rosario changed from 1,443 to 1,400, a shift of -3.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Tubod. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Del Rosario as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
