Barangay Timamana

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Timamana is one of the administrative divisions of Tubod in Surigao Del Norte, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Timamana had a population of 2,404. This made it the 1st largest of 9 barangays in Tubod by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Timamana accounted for approximately 15.98% of the total population of Tubod, which stood at 15,043 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,406 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,404 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.1%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. Barangay Timamana is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tubod is a municipality comprising 9 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Timamana, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
