Barangay Kanlunsing

Barangay Kanlunsing forms part of Tuburan, a municipality in Cebu, and is classified as a very small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Kanlunsing had a population of 197. This made it the 54th largest of 54 barangays in Tuburan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Kanlunsing accounted for approximately 0.29% of the total population of Tuburan, which stood at 68,167 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 204 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 197 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -3.4%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Kanlunsing is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Tuburan is a municipality comprising 54 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Kanlunsing, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
