Barangay Tomugpa

Situated in Tuburan, Cebu, Barangay Tomugpa is one of 54 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tomugpa had a population of 287. This made it the 47th largest of 54 barangays in Tuburan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tomugpa accounted for approximately 0.42% of the total population of Tuburan, which stood at 68,167 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 281 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 287 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +2.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Tomugpa is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
