Barangay Linao East

Barangay Linao East is a large barangay in Tuguegarao City, located in the province of Cagayan, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Linao East had a population of 7,349. This made it the 6th largest of 49 barangays in Tuguegarao City by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Linao East accounted for approximately 4.42% of the total population of Tuguegarao City, which stood at 166,334 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 6,939 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 7,349 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +5.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Linao East is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Tuguegarao City is a city comprising 49 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Linao East, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
