Barangay Camali-an

Situated in Ubay, Bohol, Barangay Camali-an is one of 44 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Camali-an had a population of 662. This made it the 42nd largest of 44 barangays in Ubay by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Camali-an accounted for approximately 0.81% of the total population of Ubay, which stood at 81,799 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 642 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 662 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.1%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Camali-an is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Ubay is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Camali-an, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
