Barangay Abot Molina

Barangay Abot Molina is a small barangay in the municipality of Umingan, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Abot Molina had a population of 1,953. This made it the 12th largest of 58 barangays in Umingan by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Abot Molina accounted for approximately 2.53% of the total population of Umingan, which stood at 77,074 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Abot Molina changed from 1,756 to 1,953, a shift of +11.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Umingan. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Abot Molina as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Umingan is a municipality comprising 58 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Abot Molina, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
