Barangay Muliguin

Barangay Muliguin is a small barangay in the municipality of Unisan, located in the province of Quezon, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Muliguin had a population of 1,383. This made it the 4th largest of 36 barangays in Unisan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Muliguin accounted for approximately 5.43% of the total population of Unisan, which stood at 25,448 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Muliguin moving from 1,355 residents to 1,383 residents, an intercensal change of +2.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Muliguin is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
