Barangay Doldol

Situated in Valladolid, Negros Occidental, Barangay Doldol is one of 16 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Doldol had a population of 840. This made it the 16th largest of 16 barangays in Valladolid by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Doldol accounted for approximately 2.10% of the total population of Valladolid, which stood at 39,996 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 800 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 840 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +5.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Doldol is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
