Situated in Victoria, Oriental Mindoro, Barangay Pakyas is one of 32 barangays that make up the municipality within MIMAROPA Region.

This made it the 11th largest of 32 barangays in Victoria by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Pakyas accounted for approximately 3.68% of the total population of Victoria, which stood at 52,175 in the same census year.
