Barangay Poblacion I

Barangay Poblacion I is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Victoria, located in the province of Oriental Mindoro, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion I had a population of 2,658. This made it the 4th largest of 32 barangays in Victoria by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion I accounted for approximately 5.09% of the total population of Victoria, which stood at 52,175 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion I moving from 2,934 residents to 2,658 residents, an intercensal change of -9.4%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Poblacion I as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
