Barangay Unzad

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Unzad is one of the administrative divisions of Villasis in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Unzad had a population of 3,919. This made it the 7th largest of 21 barangays in Villasis by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Unzad accounted for approximately 6.02% of the total population of Villasis, which stood at 65,047 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Unzad moving from 3,663 residents to 3,919 residents, an intercensal change of +7.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Unzad is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
