Barangay Aguit-It

Barangay Aguit-It forms part of Vinzons, a municipality in Camarines Norte, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Aguit-It had a population of 1,883. This made it the 11th largest of 19 barangays in Vinzons by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Aguit-It accounted for approximately 3.84% of the total population of Vinzons, which stood at 49,042 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Aguit-It changed from 1,566 to 1,883, a shift of +20.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Vinzons. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Aguit-It as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Vinzons is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Aguit-It, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
