Barangay Banocboc

Situated in Vinzons, Camarines Norte, Barangay Banocboc is one of 19 barangays that make up the municipality within Bicol Region.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Banocboc had a population of 3,961. This made it the 4th largest of 19 barangays in Vinzons by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Banocboc accounted for approximately 8.08% of the total population of Vinzons, which stood at 49,042 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Banocboc changed from 3,557 to 3,961, a shift of +11.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Vinzons. Barangay Banocboc is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Vinzons is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Banocboc, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Camarines Norte, which contains 282 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Banocboc ranks 39th by 2020 population. The next BSKE is scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, following the synchronized election schedule set by COMELEC Resolution No. 11191.
