Barangay Concepcion

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Concepcion is one of the administrative divisions of Zaragoza in Nueva Ecija, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Concepcion had a population of 5,965. This made it the 2nd largest of 19 barangays in Zaragoza by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Concepcion accounted for approximately 11.24% of the total population of Zaragoza, which stood at 53,090 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Concepcion moving from 5,534 residents to 5,965 residents, an intercensal change of +7.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Concepcion is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

Zaragoza is a municipality comprising 19 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Concepcion, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
