Barangay Buer

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Buer is one of the administrative divisions of Aguilar in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Buer had a population of 3,394. This made it the 5th largest of 16 barangays in Aguilar by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Buer accounted for approximately 7.53% of the total population of Aguilar, which stood at 45,100 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Buer moving from 3,245 residents to 3,394 residents, an intercensal change of +4.6%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Buer as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
