Barangay Poblacion

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Poblacion is one of the administrative divisions of Aguilar in Pangasinan, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Poblacion had a population of 3,527. This made it the 4th largest of 16 barangays in Aguilar by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Poblacion accounted for approximately 7.82% of the total population of Aguilar, which stood at 45,100 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Poblacion moving from 3,505 residents to 3,527 residents, an intercensal change of +0.6%. The trajectory indicates a slowly expanding community.
