Barangay Manlocboc

Barangay Manlocboc is a small barangay in the municipality of Aguilar, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Manlocboc had a population of 1,423. This made it the 16th largest of 16 barangays in Aguilar by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Manlocboc accounted for approximately 3.16% of the total population of Aguilar, which stood at 45,100 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Manlocboc changed from 1,273 to 1,423, a shift of +11.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Aguilar. Barangay Manlocboc is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Aguilar is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Manlocboc, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
