Situated in Anao, Tarlac, Barangay Santo Domingo is one of 18 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santo Domingo had a population of 450. This made it the 12th largest of 18 barangays in Anao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Domingo accounted for approximately 3.69% of the total population of Anao, which stood at 12,208 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 387 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 450 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +16.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Santo Domingo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Anao is a municipality comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Domingo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
