Barangay Rizal I

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Rizal I is one of the administrative divisions of Babatngon in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Rizal I had a population of 1,145. This made it the 9th largest of 25 barangays in Babatngon by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Rizal I accounted for approximately 3.97% of the total population of Babatngon, which stood at 28,823 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Rizal I moving from 855 residents to 1,145 residents, an intercensal change of +33.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
