Barangay Buntod

Barangay Buntod is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Bacong, located in the province of Negros Oriental, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Buntod had a population of 2,030. This made it the 6th largest of 22 barangays in Bacong by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Buntod accounted for approximately 4.93% of the total population of Bacong, which stood at 41,207 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Buntod moving from 1,895 residents to 2,030 residents, an intercensal change of +7.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
