Barangay Lutao

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Lutao is one of the administrative divisions of Bacong in Negros Oriental, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Lutao had a population of 1,298. This made it the 11th largest of 22 barangays in Bacong by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lutao accounted for approximately 3.15% of the total population of Bacong, which stood at 41,207 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Lutao moving from 1,181 residents to 1,298 residents, an intercensal change of +9.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community.
