Barangay Magsuhot

Barangay Magsuhot is a very small barangay in the municipality of Bacong, located in the province of Negros Oriental, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Magsuhot had a population of 384. This made it the 21st largest of 22 barangays in Bacong by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Magsuhot accounted for approximately 0.93% of the total population of Bacong, which stood at 41,207 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Magsuhot moving from 359 residents to 384 residents, an intercensal change of +7.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Magsuhot as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
