Barangay Cabanga-an

Situated in Badiangan, Iloilo, Barangay Cabanga-an is one of 31 barangays that make up the municipality within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cabanga-an had a population of 650. This made it the 22nd largest of 31 barangays in Badiangan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabanga-an accounted for approximately 2.40% of the total population of Badiangan, which stood at 27,056 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cabanga-an moving from 651 residents to 650 residents, an intercensal change of -0.2%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community.
