Barangay Ar-arusip

Situated in Badoc, Ilocos Norte, Barangay Ar-arusip is one of 31 barangays that make up the municipality within Ilocos Region.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Ar-arusip had a population of 808. This made it the 24th largest of 31 barangays in Badoc by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Ar-arusip accounted for approximately 2.48% of the total population of Badoc, which stood at 32,530 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Ar-arusip changed from 799 to 808, a shift of +1.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with slowly expanding populations in Badoc. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Ar-arusip as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
