Barangay Balbaldez

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Balbaldez is one of the administrative divisions of Badoc in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Balbaldez had a population of 302. This made it the 31st largest of 31 barangays in Badoc by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Balbaldez accounted for approximately 0.93% of the total population of Badoc, which stood at 32,530 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Balbaldez changed from 320 to 302, a shift of -5.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Badoc. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Balbaldez as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
