Barangay Gabut Sur

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Gabut Sur is one of the administrative divisions of Badoc in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Gabut Sur had a population of 894. This made it the 20th largest of 31 barangays in Badoc by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Gabut Sur accounted for approximately 2.75% of the total population of Badoc, which stood at 32,530 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Gabut Sur changed from 1,011 to 894, a shift of -11.6% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Badoc.
