Barangay Temblique

Situated in Baggao, Cagayan, Barangay Temblique is one of 48 barangays that make up the municipality within Cagayan Valley.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Temblique had a population of 1,006. This made it the 40th largest of 48 barangays in Baggao by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Temblique accounted for approximately 1.15% of the total population of Baggao, which stood at 87,753 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Temblique changed from 893 to 1,006, a shift of +12.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Baggao. Barangay Temblique is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Baggao is a municipality comprising 48 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Temblique, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cagayan, which contains 820 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Temblique ranks 512th by 2020 population.
