Barangay Sinacbat

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Sinacbat is one of the administrative divisions of Bakun in Benguet, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Sinacbat had a population of 1,480. This made it the 5th largest of 7 barangays in Bakun by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Sinacbat accounted for approximately 10.18% of the total population of Bakun, which stood at 14,535 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Sinacbat changed from 1,518 to 1,480, a shift of -2.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Bakun. Barangay Sinacbat is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Bakun is a municipality comprising 7 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Sinacbat, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
