Barangay Banase

Barangay Banase forms part of Baleno, a municipality in Masbate, and is classified as a very small barangay.

This made it the 24th largest of 24 barangays in Baleno by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Banase moving from 369 residents to 384 residents, an intercensal change of +4.1%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Banase as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
