Barangay Batuila

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Batuila is one of the administrative divisions of Baleno in Masbate, Bicol Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Batuila had a population of 893. This made it the 14th largest of 24 barangays in Baleno by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Batuila accounted for approximately 3.09% of the total population of Baleno, which stood at 28,855 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Batuila moving from 759 residents to 893 residents, an intercensal change of +17.7%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Batuila as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
