Barangay Tiep

Barangay Tiep is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Bani, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tiep had a population of 2,451. This made it the 7th largest of 27 barangays in Bani by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Tiep accounted for approximately 4.66% of the total population of Bani, which stood at 52,603 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tiep moving from 2,296 residents to 2,451 residents, an intercensal change of +6.8%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tiep is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
