Barangay Mabini

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Mabini is one of the administrative divisions of Baras in Rizal, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mabini had a population of 2,857. This made it the 7th largest of 10 barangays in Baras by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Mabini accounted for approximately 3.26% of the total population of Baras, which stood at 87,637 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,532 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,857 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +12.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Mabini is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Baras is a municipality comprising 10 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mabini, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
